The need for intentional communities for people with Autism and Developmental Disabilities is vast and not entirely quantified. As caregivers age, they are increasingly concerned about what the future looks like when they can no longer support their loved ones in the family home. In order to streamline the process for future development, it is our goal to be as transparent as possible and to share materials and lessons learned with others who share our goal of supplying supported housing to those with disabilities who are able to live independently. It is our intent to share as much of our process as possible including:

• Materials packaged to share with others interested in developing a similar community elsewhere:
  • Non-profit mission statement
  • Non-profit bylaws
  • Board member profiles/skill sets
  • Fundraising plan
  • Marketing plan
  • Building blueprints and architectural drawings
  • Community rules & guidelines
  • Resident application & screening process
• Documentation of successes / failures / lessons learned
• Availability of founders to speak to those interested in reproducing the community
